
Naturally caffeine-free and produced without additives or preservatives, Chicory Granules and Ground Chicory combine perfectly with coffee to enhance its flavour and lower its caffeine content.
Liquid chicory is a great natural food colouring with a full-bodied, slightly sweet flavour, making it an ideal ingredient in all kinds of dishes: starters, main courses and desserts. Mixed with milk or water, it also makes a delicious hot or cold drink with a great caramel taste.
Ground chicory :
- For an original espresso with a lower caffeine content, fill your coffee-maker with a combination of 1/4 Ground Chicory and 3/4 coffee, mixing them together well.
- For 4 cups of filter coffee with less caffeine, add 1 measure of Ground Chicory to 3 of coffee.
Chicory granules : (makes 8 small cups)
- Add 1 measure of chicory granules to 2 of coffee for a light-tasting coffee.
- Add 1 measure of chicory granules to 3 of coffee for a full-flavoured coffee.
Liquid chicory :
- Put 1 teaspoon into a glass/cup and add hot or cold milk (or water).
- Also makes an excellent cooking ingredient.
